Office hours
Office hours tell Traise when each location is open for business. The schedule drives after-hours call routing, SMS auto-replies, and “we’re closed” messages for chat widgets. You must have at least one location before configuring office hours.
Navigate to Admin → Office Hours (/account/settings/office-hours), or click the Office Hours chip on any Locations card to go there with the right location already selected.
Selecting a location
Section titled “Selecting a location”If your account has multiple locations, use the Location selector at the top of the page to switch between them. Settings are saved per location — changes you make do not affect other locations.
Weekly schedule
Section titled “Weekly schedule”The weekly schedule lets you define open and close times for each day of the week.
- Select the location you want to configure.
- For each day, toggle the day open or mark it as Closed.
- For open days, set the Open and Close times.
- Click Save when you are done.
You can set different hours for each day, making it easy to model a Monday–Friday 9-to-5 with a half-day Saturday or any other pattern your office follows.
Holiday closures
Section titled “Holiday closures”Use holiday closures to mark specific calendar dates when the office will be closed regardless of the weekly schedule.
- In the Holiday Closures section, click Add Holiday.
- Pick the date and give it a label (for example, “Thanksgiving”).
- Save your changes.
Holidays appear in a list so you can review and remove them as needed each year.
Date range closures
Section titled “Date range closures”Date range closures handle multi-day situations like office vacations or extended shutdowns.
- In the Date Range Closures section, click Add Date Range.
- Set a start date, end date, and an optional description.
- Save your changes.
Traise treats every day in the range as closed, including days that would otherwise be open in the weekly schedule.
