Phone numbers

The Phone Numbers page gives you a complete view of every number on your account — how many you have, where they are assigned, and their registration status. From here you can buy new numbers, port existing ones in, and manage assignments.

Navigate to Admin → Phone Numbers (/account/info/phonenumbers).

Three cards at the top of the page summarize your inventory:

  • Total Numbers — how many you own versus your plan’s maximum
  • Assigned — numbers tied to a location or a widget
  • Unassigned — numbers not yet attached to anything

An alert appears if you have unassigned numbers, reminding you to assign them so they can be used in call flows and messaging.

Each row shows:

ActionsEdit or delete the number

Click any sortable column header to reorder the list.

  1. Click Purchase / Port Number.
  2. Select Purchase in the dialog.
  3. Enter an area code to search for available numbers.
  4. Select a number from the results.
  5. Click Purchase to add it to your account.
  1. Click Purchase / Port Number.
  2. Select Port in the dialog.
  3. Complete the Letter of Authorization (LOA) with your current carrier details.
  4. Submit the form. Traise initiates the port request with your carrier.

Port timelines vary by carrier and are outside Traise’s control. Monitor the number’s status in the table for updates.

Click the edit action on any row to change the number’s friendly name or reassign it. A number can be assigned to either a location or a widget — not both simultaneously.

Deleting a number moves it to Pending Release status. A countdown timer shows when the release becomes permanent. During this window you can click Undo Deletion to keep the number.

Your plan’s maximum phone number limit is enforced at purchase time.
