Blast campaigns

Campaigns (also called blasts) let you send a single message — or a recurring series of messages — to a targeted group of contacts at once. Use them for policy renewal reminders, holiday greetings, open enrollment announcements, and any other broadcast outreach.

Navigate to Campaigns in the left sidebar. The dashboard shows four stat cards at the top: Total Blasts, Active, SMS Blasts, and Email Blasts. Below that is a filterable table listing every campaign with its type, name, description, audience, schedule, status, next run date, and last updated timestamp.

Use the search bar to find a campaign by name, or filter the table by Type (SMS or Email) and Status (Active or Paused). You can toggle any campaign on or off directly from the table without opening it, and delete a campaign using the trash icon — a confirmation dialog prevents accidental deletes.

  1. Click Create Campaign in the top-right corner.
  2. Step 1 — Info: Enter a name and description. Choose the format: SMS or Email. If you select Email, your domain must already be verified under Account → Campaigns. Enable Send once per contact if you want each contact to receive the message only once, then set a reset period in days (enter 0 to never re-send). Enable Show in Inbox to make replies appear in the shared inbox.
  3. Step 2 — Target: Select the tags and/or individual contacts you want to reach. For tag-based audiences, choose which party to message: the primary contact, the co-applicant (secondary), or both.
  4. Step 3 — Content: For SMS, type the message body and insert placeholder variables (name, policy number, etc.) using the variable picker. For Email, add a subject line and compose the body using the rich text editor.
  5. Step 4 — Schedule: Set the occurrence (one-time, daily, weekly, or monthly), pick a start date and interval, then choose an end condition: never, after a set number of runs, or on a specific end date.
  6. The progress bar at the top tracks completion across all four steps. The Save button stays disabled until all steps are 100% complete.

Click the pencil icon in the Actions column to reopen the four-step wizard with your existing settings pre-filled. Changes take effect on the next scheduled run.

  • Email requires a verified domain. If you haven’t set one up yet, go to Account → Campaigns first. Without a verified domain, the Email format option is unavailable in Step 1.
  • “Send once per contact” with reset days set to 0 means a contact will never receive that campaign again once they’ve been messaged, regardless of how many times the campaign runs.
  • Pausing a campaign stops future runs but preserves the schedule. Re-activating it resumes from the next scheduled run date.
  • Audience size is determined at send time, not at creation time. Contacts added to a target tag after the campaign is created will be included in future runs.
